Item Details Original, antique, naïve farm scene oil painting on board. The scene shows a row of bushy trees, with a farmhouse sat back in the middle. Smoke appears to be exiting from the chimney top. On the left-hand side, is a figure, seated near a knotted tree and a pile of cut tree logs. There’s another figure walking toward the viewer, with a fishing rod in hand. Two cows are grazing near the water’s edge, and five birds can be seen swimming ashore on the right-hand side. No visible signature. Painting measures: 14” x 11” Displayed in a ready to hang, period wood frame, with gold leaf around the front. Frame shows some surface wear and measures: 17 ¼” x 14 ¼”.
