Arthur Litt, gouache on paper, fabric design

Overall framing is 14.375 x 11.375, black aluminum frame, in VGC with museum quality matting, mounting, and UV glass. In indicating that the piece is signed, it’s in refrence to the stamp and catalog number on verso. If you’re familiar these studies are usually priced around 400 to 750, although it’s my opinion because of its artistic quality, that’d rival any De Stijl piece of its time, complexity and the amount of time involved in its excution, despite it’s diangle composition I think this piece is above that average. And as always, open to offers.

Rare Large French Arthur Litt Fabric Design Gouache on Paper Framed 20th Century

It is painted upon thick smooth paper and with full margins as created in Paris and bearing Arthur Litt’s seal on the top left. Good overall condition, paper has natural waves from age and framing. Such is surely the case with «Abstract Fabric Design», where circles of red, blue, green and white are painted in conjoined patterns against a deep, black background.
