Gret Kalous-Scheffer (1892 Vienna – 1975 Vienna) was a daughter of the renowned Austrian painter and owner of an art school in Vienna, Robert Scheffer. From 1920-1940 she owned the «Gret Kalous Fashion School» for young designers.
She received her education at her father’s painting school, where she founded the „Kalous fashion course“ in 1915. Gret Kalous-Scheffer (nee Kalous) was born in 1882 in Vienna. She was a fashion designer, fashion illustrator, founder of a fashion school, daughter of Robert Scheffer – the original founder of the „Scheffer Painting School“.
