This has been one of my favorite dog portraits I’ve ever sourced. This sweet terrier pup has been hanging in my own home but I’m finally ready to share him with one of you. An original signed oil on canvas by British artist Julie Brenan in 1981, known for her distinguished career painting animals and portraits, including commissions at Windsor Castle and portraits of Princess Diana. She was so well regarded in the world of cannine art that in 1979 she was commissioned by Pedigree Pet foods to paint that years Crufts Best in Show.
