Victorian Mystery -Young Woman on Garden Patio with Corset Dress -c 1890s

Offered here is an original antique European oil painting, Spanish, French, or maybe Italian, circa 1890s. Painting is oil on canvas and measures 20 5/8 x 16 5/8 inches. Overall framed size is ~27 x 23 inches. Painting is signed lower left but artist remains a mystery to me. It may be Picardi, Ricardi, Ricordi. Painting includes later wood framing with a kind of ‘shabby chic’ look. Subject of painting is a lovely young woman in a corset dress with ultra thin waist. She sits in a patio or balcony, putting flowers in her hair, with lake view in distance. Condition is very good. Painting has been lined with some restoration.
