About the Artist: Richard Goertemiller was an avid boatman on the Chesapeake Bay where his interest in working craft, particularly the skipjack, has found an outlet in his marine paintings. Dick was also the author of «Cruise of the Month» and «Log of the Moon Song» features in Chesapeake Bay Magazine, which he and his wife, Dixie, founded in 1971.
