Peter Robert Keil, born on the 6th August 1942 in Züllichau, is a German painter and sculptor. In the 1950s he began training as a metalworker and then studied at the Berlin University of the Arts from 1959 to 1961. During this time he was influenced by artists such as Pablo Picasso and developed an expressive, colorful style of painting.
