Original Antique Native American Portrait – Oil Painting – 19th C. /Early 1900’s

Acquired during a visit to Arizona, this is a unique and wonderful portrait that captures the essence of Native American culture. The painting is an original oil on canvas, adhered to heavy cardboard. Dating from the late 1800’s to the early 1900’s it’s framed beautifully, measuring 7.5″ x 9.5″. This one of a kind painting features intricate details that showcase the artist’s talent. It looks like a portrait done from life, but alas… there isn’t a signature or sitter identification. The colors in this piece really «pop»!!! The painting would make an excellent addition to any art collection but also perfect for those interested in Americana, history, portraits, Native American cultures and ethnicities.
