For sale is an original oil pastel artwork in the ‘style of’ Arnold Bocklin. This is a reproduction for sale by the artist K.Overbeck. Not a lifeless paper copy, a real work of art by a real artist. Who loves classic artwork. ‘The Isle of the Dead’ -third version- The artwork is 12 x 16 inches, and mounted in a wood/composite gold frame, with no glass. ( Shown ) the frame does have some imperfections (pictured), that include some cracking in the corners. These wont affect the stability of the frame, it only affects the façade. The frame is likely from the 50s to 60s, but I cannot be sure. The canvas does have a crease on its left side that is visible upon close inspection. My signature does exist on the artwork, behind the physical artwork and on the back of the frame. Please forgive varied color brightness and contrast. Some of my photos are taken inside my home or outside in daylight, and may even be too bright. I have been an artist all my life, and recently been given the opportunity to really invest in myself.
