Vintge Shades of Blue ORIGINAL Coastal Lighthouse Seascape SIGNED Anthony FRAMED

This beautiful seascape painting features a lighthouse on the shore with the sand dunes and sea oats waving in the ocean breeze. There are seagulls flying overhead and fluffy white clouds floating in the distance. There is the slightest pink light reflecting from the sand dunes and sea oats – common with the Florida morning sunrise. The medium is oil on canvas, signed «Anthony». I could not locate any information on this artist or the age of the painting, but I estimate it is from the 1990’s based on the color palette and style and condition of the frame. The coastal scene is beautifully executed in shades of azure blue, baby blue, teal, and turqoise with bright whtie sand and clouds. The sea oats are a nice contrast in green tones. The frame is solid wood, painted white with a rustic texture and a gold outer edge and gold antique finish. The frame has an inner border of ivory linen with an ivory edge. It measures 15 inches in height and is 13 inches wide, portrait confirguration, and a nice medium-small size that will work in many spaces. The (canvas) picture itself is in excellent condition, with no visible stains, tears, or holes. The frame has some very minimal normal wear, but no significant scratches , scuffs, or gouges. The linen inner border has some light age-related discoloration (see photos). The canvas is firmly mounted in the frame – not loose. The hanging brackets and wire are secure and sturdy.
