This artwork, an oil painting measuring 21 x 26” is simply magnificent in use of color, and representative of the style Archiguille became famous for. The artwork is signed at bottom center. This painting, titled “Tempete” per verso, is a seascape of boats in a storm. Provenance – Purchased from a well-regarded British art dealer who sourced from a private French collection which had owned the painting for some time. Artwork is in great condition but could use a cleaning. Even without a cleaning, the colors are strong, saturated, and frankly, incredible. Artwork is on canvas and comes unframed.
