“Audiences first funtastic attraction” is an oil painting based on an early universal attraction based on the Funtastic world of Hanna Barbera. I got the idea from my interest in watching theme park history videos on YouTube and the one based on the Funtastic world of Hanna Barbera fascinated me the most due to my nostalgia of watching Boomerang when I was younger along with its historical significance with being the first attraction that’s not just aimed at families but also the first motion screen ride featuring cartoons that are non Disney. This piece is for anyone that has an interest in cartoon and theme park history or wants a painting dedicated/related to Hanna Barbera.
