THEIR FACES ARE VAGUE, BUT THE ATMOSPHERE IS RICH WITH GLAMOUR AND VITALITY. SIMPLY AMAZING. SIGNED BY BERNARD GARBUTT. IT DATES AROUND THE 1960s. GOOD OVERALL CONDITION. MILD WEAR. Charles Garbutt is known for painting, Animal illustrator, animator. Charles Garbutt Born: 1900 – Ontario, California Died: 1975 – Los Angeles, California Born in Ontario, CA on Aug. 25, 1900 of Canadian parents, Charles Garbutt began sketching farm animals as a child, and at age 15 was earning his living as an artist. A prolific artist, he worked in the art department of the Los Angeles Times, was author-illustrator of children's books, taught art at the Los Angeles Zoo for the Chouinard School of Art, and created drawings of Snow White and Bambi for Walt Disney.
