C. Schmitz Oil painting on canvas Fallen tree in forest 8x 6″ with frame 12×10″

This is an original oil painting on a 6×8 Duro Canvas Panel manufactured by Duro Art Supply Company. I'm not sure of the year it was painted but I believe the Duro Art Supply company was formed in the 60s or 70's. It is a stunning painting of a fallen tree in the forest. The fallen tree is very detailed and textured giving it a realistic look and it almost appears 3d. It is signed by C. Schmitz. The painting is in great condition. The frame has some minor scratches and a defect to the corner of the bottom right of frame. It is really difficult to see the defect in the picture. I tried to take a zoomed in shot. It doesn't distract from the beauty of the picture or the frame and is really only noticeable on close inspection. With the frame included it is about 12 in x 10 in.
