TREVOR BOYER (b.1948). AN ORIGINAL, UNFRAMED WATERCOLOUR PAINTING ON CARD. WRAPPED IN CELLOPHANE, HENCE REFLECTIONS. PAINTED CIRCA 2000s. SIGNED BY THE ARTIST. DEPICTING A LANNER FALCON (Falco biarmicus). Trevor Boyer was born in Castleford in the West Riding of Yorkshire. He attended the Wakefield School of Art from the age of 14 and then worked as a commercial artist in Leeds for 9 years. In 1976 Boyer became a freelance artist and has specialized in birds ever since. He has contributed to a number of publications including The Reader’s Digest Nature Lovers’ Library ‘Birds of Britain’, 1981, and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and the Automobile Association’s Complete Book of British Birds, 1988. He has exhibited at the Leeds City Museum and the Society of Wildlife Artists, Mall Galleries, London. THE PAINTING MEASURES APPROX. 140mm X 175mm AND THE MOUNT MEASURES 265mm X 295mm. THE PAINTING IS IN EXCELLENT, ORIGINAL CONDITION AND HAS NEVER BEEN FRAMED (SEE PHOTOS). I HAVE LISTED MORE WORKS BY THIS ARTIST.
