Artwork surface is stable; colors remain vivid and strong despite age. Stylistically, the work shows influences of Picasso and Paul Klee. Paper shows foxing, spotting, and discoloration from age throughout, particularly along the margins (see photos).
He stands closely to the portrait on the wall to inspect the finest details of the work. The condition of this painting is fine while its framing shows wear.
