Ms. Fintz was born in Brooklyn NY, educated at Queens College, The New York Studio School and Boston University. Ms. Fintz lived and worked in the artist communities of Tribeca and Williamsburg, exhibiting regularly in NYC.
This ACEO card is nr 7 in a series of 11 motives, Abstract Landscapes. They are created with dried acrylic paint from my painting palette. If you pull the dried paint off the palette you get acrylic skins.
You can see in the photos, I am on my driveway with my gear. The leaves are starting to fall here in SW Va. so the shadow patterns are going to change a lot within the next month. I just can’t help but get outside and paint!
It is a stunning fall marsh scene with brilliant colors found in the Green Mountain State. It is not signed on the front but is initialed on the back, with what looks like MGM D or MCM D and the year 1997.
