Ajubel is a Cuban artist belonging to the plastic generation of the 80s in Cuba. As a humorous cartoonist, he had his first experiences in the Melaíto weekly in 1973. The publications he began in the magazine were joint creations in which others contributed humorous content, while he was responsible for the graphic realization. Already in the 1980s, he joined the humorous weekly DDT, where he stayed until his drawings grew in solidity, transforming humor into reflection. He has received numerous international distinctions such as: The Best of Newspaper Design, 2 Bronze Medals and 1 Honorable Mention (United States, 1994), First Prize, Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition (Turkey, 1994) 3rd Prize, Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition (Turkey, 1997) and National Illustration Prize, Ministry of Culture of Spain, 2003″.ALBERTO MORALES (AJUBEL). Como dibujante humorístico tuvo sus primeras experiencias en el semanario Melaíto en 1973. Las publicaciones que inició en la revista fueron creaciones conjuntas en las que otros aportaban el contenido humorístico, mientras él se encargaba de la realización gráfica. Ya en la década de 1980 se integra al semanario humorístico DDT donde estuvo hasta que sus dibujos crecieron en solidez trastocando el humor en reflexión. Ha obtenido numerosas distinciones internacionales como; The Best of Newspaper Design, 2 Medallas de Bronce y 1 Mención de Honor (Estados Unidos, 1994), First Prize, Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition (Turquía, 1994) 3er Prize, Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition.
