Gouache on paper 2026 Tampa ~ Made by myself ~ For me , painting and drawing is more than just copying or imitation of objects , I find that drawing or painting without a preconceived outcome, as a form of meditation can be very fulfilling and the results are more often than not a surprising experience, even as I am an academically trained painter and draughtsman, I find spiritual comfort in painting and drawing as a spontaneous meditation practice, letting myself go and emptying my mind in the process , enjoying the concentration on my brushwork and mixing of colors, and yet these are emerging images that I cannot explain . Am I making sense?
