Today we’re offering a fantastic vintage oil painting on board, created by well-known native American artist Ed Jojola Shirpoyo (1938-2014), New Mexico. It is signed and dated 1982. The subject is a Native American woman wrapped in a blanket outside of a building with an «Indian Bread» sign. Mr. Shirpoyo was famous for his paintings depicting everyday pueblo life. The 12X14 frame is wood. The board or painting itself measures 10X12. On the back is a tag that says «Shirpoyo Art Gallery».
