After 30 years of creating and manufacturing jewelry, I return to my first love, oil painting Still life “Dream of colors I” Here you find an oil painting, on a linen canvas frame, measuring 55 cm x 46 cm x 2.5 cm. This is an original work and NOT a print. The subject are 4 glass vases surrounded by silk fabrics, placed in front of a mirror so as to see the vases and fabrics and their reflection. The painting is varnished with 2 metal hooks and can be hung directly, without a frame. The painting is signed. As always, VAT is included in the price and the painting is sold with invoice.

Student of Léon Bonnat and Maignan. he was a painter, designer and lithographer and exhibited in Paris at the Salon des Artistes Français between 1902 and 1943; he obtained a mention in 1927 and is a lifelong member. He also has exposed at the Salon des Indépendants between 1931 and 1935. His works are essentially Breton-inspired: market scenes, ports, harvests, portraits… Charles Joseph Mairet was born in Brest in 1878. He died in 1957. Pupil of Bonnat and Maignan. he was a painter, draftsman and lithographer. Painter of typical Breton scenes, Charles Mairet exhibited in Paris at the Salon des Artistes Français between 1902 and 1943; he obtained a mention in 1927 and he is a perpetual member.
