The painting is marked H.M.S. P20 in the matte underneath the watercolor and features a patrol boat and a zeppelin above. In the left hand corner, it is signed by the artist with what appears to be R. Heddon.

This is a nice, antique, original, hand-painted, landscape oil painting that looks to depict an American Hudson River school landscape with homes, people, a lake, mountains, a waterfall, and trees (see photos). I do not know the location depicted in the painting, the artist, or the origin (use your research to determine those). This painting is painted on canvas, and it is on the original antique wooden stretcher (see photos). The painting is framed in a modern picture frame. The framed painting measures about 20 inches high, and it is about 26 inches wide. The painting portion without the picture frame measures in total about 18 inches high, and it measures about 24 inches wide. The painting is antique, dating to around 150 +/- years old. This painting is from an estate liquidation.
