David Rouzier was born on October 10, 1934 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. In 1949, he was encouraged by his close friend, Andre Normil to join the Centre d’Art. In his artwork, Rouzier uses a clear strong palette that allows him to add great depth to his paintings of peasants in country landscapes and voodoo scenes.
