Ok I’m not an expert by any means so stick with me lol. I’m not sure if it’s a painting or a print but I do know it’s old. It says 1948 on the back but that could be just a random date. Seems older. Please feel free to ask me anything and I’ll try my best to answer. Thanks . Item 646

Vtg Ornate Carved Wood Picture Frame Reproduction Oil Painting A Girl With A Broom on Canvas 15×17″ Frame 8.5×11.5″ Canvas
My best assessment is that this is not a hand-painted original oil, but rather a late-19th- to early-20th-century chromolithograph or oleograph. The frame style looks late Victorian / Rococo Revival maybe. Subject of the painting is very charming. * a mother at a hearth, * children doing chores, * visitors at the doorway, * peasant/rural interior, The clothing and interior suggest a 19th-century peasant/family scene, possibly Dutch, Flemish, German, or Scandinavian-inspired. Desperate need of repair.
Out of the Shed and up for Auction is a Vintage Impasto 5″x7″ Oil Painting on wood signed by Morgan and in a beautiful ornate frame. This painting appears to be a Parris street scene in the street art style. The frame does have a thin crack in one corner but it’s still just as beautiful as the painting. Please review the pictures carefully as they best describe the item and its condition. Let me know if you have any questions.
