An incredible Pastel Portrait Painting of a beautiful young woman flaked by fruit and roses, likely late 19th century and American or European. Delicately rendered with stunning detail, done on brown wash heavy artists paper. No signature found but certainly done by a talented artist, more research needed. Very good condition overall with only minor toning to paper. Housed in a contemporary gilt frame behind acrylic. Please see al photos for condition. A fine piece to add to the walls of your home! This is a very nice antique c.1900 pastel of Birch trees in the woods along a dirt pathway. The painting is signed lower right but I can’t make it out. It is housed in it’s original gilt wood frame with golden mat and protective glass front. Quite a beautiful package, the frame really shows it off well. and amazingly still in very good condition. Measures; sight size 6 1/2″ x 10 1/4″, framed 14″x 17 3/4″ .
