Pavel Filipovich Singaevski was born in 1922 in the village Shatrishchi, Zhitomir Region, Ukraine, and died in 2000 in West Ukrainian regional centre Lviv. He studied at the Odessa Art College until 1949, and afterwards lived and worked in Lviv, where he was a very popular painter. In 1974-1980 Singaevski was active as the Chief Painter of the Town of Lviv. Member of the Artist Union of the USSR and Ukrainian Artist Union, he regularly participated in town, regional, republican and all-Union exhibitions. The artist’s works are presented in various museums of Ukraine, including the Lviv National Museum of Ukrainian Art.
