18th Century British Navel Ship Painting Peter Monamy HMS Peregine

18th century painting attributed to Peter Monamy (1681-1749) Depicting the HMS Peregine ( Royal Carolina), anchored ofshore, presumably Rochester , firing the morning gun salute. The frame measures 22″ by 16″ , and the canvas measures 18″ by 12″. The painting has no losses of paint , and no flaking. It has some craquelure, and would benefit greatly with a cleaning.
