Antique 19thC Portrait Oil Painting of a Lady – French – Henri-Eugene Pluchart

A beautiful mid-19thC French oil painting on canvas of a lady by artist Henri-Eugene Pluchart. Signed and dated H Pluchart 1868. Depicts a very attractive lady with dark hair donning a purple outfit with black accents. Also wearing a ribbon in her hair and pearl and diamond earrings. Subject is starting ahead as if uninterested. In overall good condition with minor in-painting, patching, craquelure and discoloration. Please note there is minor frame loss as well. Housed in original frame with plate and original stretcher. Overall size is 25×22.
