This original 36×24″ acrylic on canvas by Cherokee artist Bill Rabbit appears to depict the «First Fire» legend. The central white raven likely represents the bird before its feathers were scorched black in the traditional story. The textured background features subtle animal and bird figures within the blue tones, suggesting the other creatures who attempted to retrieve the fire. While this interpretation aligns with Cherokee lore, it is the seller’s personal perspective on the piece. Signed by the artist.
