Beautiful vintage signed oil serigraph painting in excellent condition. Frame shows slight wear but is otherwise very appropriate for this painting. H. Hargrove was born Nicolo Sturiano in 1941. He grew up in a small town outside of Palermo, Italy. At the age of 23, he came to the United States with a degree in wine chemistry from the Wine Institute of Marsala. He was excited to persue his chosen profession. Hired as a wine maker for a small vineyard in upstate New York, H. Hargrove’s career changed direction. He discovered and fell in love with the American Countryside. Literally awestruck by the beauty and antiquity of the countryside’s weathered barns and covered bridges. Today, he ranks as one of the country’s most collected and renowned living artists.
