Teri Thomas Gilfilen Original Watercolor Landscape Triptych Wake of the Woodland

Beautiful set of three original watercolors by Teri Thomas Gilfilen (1954-) of a wooded landscape titled «The Wake of the Woodland». Artistically framed and matted to hang in a group of three. Copper toned metal frames and double matted with main mat a kahki tan color. Two end paintings are 22″ by 18.75″ tall. The center painting is 20″ by 18.75″ tall. Artist’s bio from Ask Art: ‘An American impressionist landscape painter, Teri Thomas Gilfilen lives and works in South Florida. Many of her paintings are either oil or acrylic on birch panels. Gilfilens works are derived from careful study of the painting techniques of J. Alden Weir, Childe Hassam, and John Twachtman. Her paintings are represented in corporate, permanent and private collections throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Corporate collections include B. F. GOODRICH and BANKONE. Her father, William Thomas, was also an artist, and he encouraged her to paint and draw until, when she was 16, he suddenly passed away. She has held onto those memories and signs all her paintings T. Thomas Gilfilen. ‘ Condition: Very good condition overall. No damages to paintings, and mats look clean as well. The metal frames have some scratches, mostly near top. I removed the top hooks you see on one frame backside (to keep it straight on wall) in case that is how the scratches occurred. I will include four of the hooks in case you want them. Scratches do not detract greatly.
