On July 8, 2024, during a missile attack on Ukraine, Russian troops moved a cruise missile to the territory of the Center. The building of the oncology department, where at the time of the attack there were children on dialysis, two people (the hospital doctor and the patient’s relatives) received significant injuries, and later the boy injured as a result of the rocket attack died. The toxicological building of the hospital was completely destroyed, four medical buildings and one administrative building were damaged, part of the destruction is located in the oncohematology laboratory of Ukraine.
