Signed Russian Oil painting (1950)-Alexander Ivanovich Sokolov (1918-1973)

Artist, painter and teacher. He studied with Veniamin Belkin, Mikhail Bernstein, Pavel Naumov, Andrey Mylnikov. Since 1950, Alexander Sokolov has participated in exhibitions. In 1969–1973, Alexander Ivanovich headed the painting section of the Leningrad organization of the Union of Artists of the RSFSR.
