Humphrey STISA (early/mid 20th Century British TITLE: «Marigolds» SIGNED: labelled verso MEDIUM: oil on board SIZE: 53cm x 43cm inclusive of frame CONDITION: very good DETAIL: Studied at the Charles Walter Simpson School Of Painting in S IIves Cornwall and although a founder member of the StIves Societty Of Artists did not actually settle for any lenght of time in StIves, instead contributing to shows for over 20 years from her Cheltenham home. She also exhibited at the International Society, Walker Gallery and at the Royal Academy London in the 1920s.
