Housed in a hand carved deep inset gilt painted wood frame. In used condition with wear consistent with age. Some ripples in the corner of the canvas. Slight imprint of stretcher bars on the canvas. Up for sale is a stunning 19th century female oil painting on canvas, a personal favorite work of mine. While the work lacks a signature the painting is well executed and highly attractive. The painting shows significant repair as seen verso and in painting but still looks great and displays wonderfully.
